can't setup win xp to VGN-FZ31Z

I have a laptop vgn-fz31z and i can't setup win xp. I stuck at the installation because it operating system can't find the hard disk so i press F3 to end. What sould i do? Where could i find the drivers for this laptop?

Hi bobbledk and welcome to Club Vaio.

You have a SATA hard drive which is not supported by XP. You must load the SATA drivers from a floppy disc drive during installation by pressing F6 at the Welcome to Setup screen.

Alternatively, you can use nLite to make a boot disk with the drivers included.

You are aware that your FZ will not work properly with XP. All functions will not be available and you will lose all the preinstalled software including the Blu-Ray software. I don't think HDMI works properly with XP. I would try to use Vista if I were you - the performance differences are a lot less than they used to be.
