Hi guys,
Have a CS serie- the build in camera was working fine, however I tried it today through the "Capture" function and am getting the error message "no input".I haven t connected my normal digital camera to the laptop...has it happened to you and how can I fix it?

I suppose there are only four things left to do: -
1. Can you remember when it last worked? If you can, try a System Restore to a date when it was last working. Type System Restore into the All Programs box and choose your own restore date.
2. Reinstall the Vaio Camera Capture Utility. The most up-to-date installer version I can find quickly is for the AR71S here: -

3. Carry out a full System Recovery back to factory settings. This needs you to back up everything you have added since you bought the Vaio and you will also have to install lots or Windows Sony updates. Not an attractive prospect but Sony will ask you to do this before they will make any repair.
