what does the U stand for ?
Can anyone inform me what the U stands for on a KDL 46 NX 713 U , does this TV have
a WI FI Internet interface built in ? and any feedback on the performance of this product.

Yes it has WiFi built in. Not sure what the U denotes as sony.co.uk doesn't mention the 'u' - http://www.sony.co.uk/product/t46-nx-series/kdl-46nx713 so I don't think its important.
The NX's are great TV's - well worth heading to your local retailer to get a demo and see for yourself.

Hi
I spoke to John lewis re this U number. They advise it signifies the UK model, however some have the "U" character and some don't so not really an issue.

I've been told is denotes a set that's been made with non UK parts which may cause higher spares prices. Not sure how correct this is though?
