It's been going on far too long now. In desperation have written to BBC Watchdog programme to see if they can speed up a resolution

contact them, also possibly You and Yours.
I did get an email from Nico at Sony to say they have identified the
problem and will be issuing a fix in the following weeks.
Good to hear someone is doing something but the timescale is rather
depressing.

problem and will be working to solve it in the next few week *S*.
Shame they couldn't see it coming since we had s imilar problem when they
were tinkering with iPlayer before.
Someone else emailed me to say they had contacted the Watchdog programme, I
might try the same if I can figure out how to do it, the more the merrier.

Nico,
Think you need to put this on Twitter. Lots of disgruntled Bravia owners there.

Any chance "they" might be able to make '4 OD' available on these older sets?
I'd gladly swap all the "American App's" for that.

Hello Everyone,
I have a KDL-42W653A tv, which has been brilliant for iplayer since I bought it. However in the last week certain programmes fail to play all the way through to the end. The majority of programmes work fine. A good example of a problem programme is Match of the Day Live Group F between Argentina and Bosnia-Hercegovina. I can get as far as just after the national anthems (26:00) then up comes a black screen with the following message:
Something went wrong playing this programme.
This is usually a temporary problem and could be related to your internet connection. You can this program again or try a different programme. 02100
Each time I try to watch this programme it stops in exactly the same place, yet the Internet from phone and PC is fine.
Could this be related to the iplayer issue. I will keep watching this thread for updates in the hope that one of these will fix this issue as well.
Thank you,
Mark.
