Ring Tones on X10

I just got my X10 and am wondering how to make the ring tone a music file - can anyone help? Also, does anyone know if the X10 has an FM receiver (my wife's X10 mini does)?

If you have a particular music track that you want as a ringtone you can play the track via Mediascape and whilst playing press Menu and one of the options is set as ringtone.

The other way is to use a third party app,if you have Handcent SMS it gives you an added option when you select ringtone from Menu>Settings>Sound & Display>Phone Ringtone, currently you are probably only seeing Android System but once you have Handcent it gives you another choice of Select Music and you can then look for any music tracks on your phone.

Thanks - I will give that a try (don't have phone with me at the moment). Can you tell me whether the X10 has an FM receiver?

Sorry forgot that bit! My own UK based X10 doesn't so I am guessing not however my X8 that I have on loan from SE does and that is basically the same set up as the minis.
