Display Issue in the sony Xperia V

Im having an issue with my xperia V as the Display sleeps when i get a call.but dont cover the sensors and that happens when i keep it on my palm.And also the NFC feature is also not working.all the problems came just after the latest update of the phone.Please Help!!!

You can test the proximity sensor using this app:

You can also try to reinstall the software using PC Companion: 

http://www.sonymobile.com/update

In PC Companion, press start on Support Zone > Start on Update the phone/tablet software > Press the blue link that says "Repair phone/tablet".
