I have a U20i,
* How to connect to adhoc wifi network for using shared internet
* Why bluetooth paring is possible from x10mini pro but not possible vise versa? even if u enable visiblity
* Why there is no option to make the bluetooth visible for more than 2 min and everytime you have to click two places to enable pairing
I have got a final doubt, whether all these restrictions were imposed in xperia mini because SE wanted to have less features than X10 itself even when the os is capable and the hardware too is capable...to have some reserved fools to still try on X10 even after using the Xperimented and sandboxed.
Remember: hardware is amazing for the size, but SE is trying too much on it to restrict it being exploited by opensource, and trained it to be dumbo rather than smart...All these experimental product must not be released in market.
If SE is not comfortable with android then could have used someother platform...
when Android is selected as OS then the sole aim must be to use the opensource nature and gain more popularity.
but why are they restricting from installing normal androids...

* How to connect to adhoc Wi-Fi network for using shared internet
As far as I know Xperia lacks the ability to recognize a ADHOC network.

Don't worry about it. The problem will get solved once you get the update. Update is to be rolled out by the end of this month
* Why there is no option to make the bluetooth visible for more than 2 min and every time you have to click two places to enable pairing
Presently for effective use of Bluetooth, you will have to download an application named bluetooth file transfer from the market. The stuff is free. It will help you out in this issue.

Indeed, not supporting adhoc wifi is an android limitation but there are plenty of workaround
It is a pity that SE is sligthly modifying Android OS , in order to make it extra difficult
What upgrade are you talking about ?
2.2 is not on X10 Mini roadmap as far as I know
