That sounds rather strange.
If I understand you correctly, you haven't experience any problems since you started using Internet on only SIM1?
There's no logical explanation to why and it shouldn't work like that. You should of course not experience the unavailability of SIM1 depending on this setting.
Could you share some more information about the network operator(s) and their supported networks?
If both SIM have GSM and 3G (WCDMA) access you could try to switch them with each other. Use the SIM that you have inserted in SIM2 in the SIM1 slot and vice versa to see if you still get the same problem.

Just did that. switched both of them with each other. and then, changed the network of 1st SIM to GSM only(no 3G) and the 2nd one to WCDMA/GSM (3G). Now i'll keep an eye in next few days how thing move on. My concentration will be to find out if the 1st SIM goes unavailable or not, as i'll NOT be using internet on this one.
will update u later.

well,so i am back. In these all the days, SIM went missing only for few seconds. I only did this: changed the SIM (which i am using for internet) to GSM/CDMA and the other one to GSM only. When i started using internet on another sim, i did the same to that one too.
Here important thing is that even if the sim which we are using for internet is 2G only, we better change into GSM/CDMA instead of GSM only. Tried it and it worked.
So i think this thread has finally got a solution.
Thanks forall the help and being with me.
