locked out Xperia M

ireally hope someone can help i have had enough of it today! i changed the pattern lock on my xperia M this morning as i son had found out how to draw the old one, I tested it once changed and it was fine then put it on charge but havent been able to open it since!

I have tried putting in the linked gmail accout details as requested but with no luck either. i have tried changing passwords online and entering old ones too but nothing works there.

It will not connect to sony pc companion.

nor can I seem to access the android boot menu to hard reset. (startup with power and vol up held down)

I know i will lose everything but i dont want to be defeated!!!

please if i can try anything else?!?!

thanks

You may need to perform a software repair using PC Companion. The process will erase all internal memory. You might need to charge your device for about 1-2 hours before so the device has at least 60% battery.

Make sure the device is not connected to computer or laptop and turned off (sometimes you have to press power button and volume up until the device vibrates 3 times or on some devices you have to press the small button near the SIM tray or on the back of the device).

Open PC companion->support zone->phone/tablet software update->repair my phone/tablet blue highlighted.Follow the steps given,do not connect your phone until prompted to press volume down while plugging USB cable. If PC companion does not start the repair process, you might need to run it in compatibility mode with Windows 7 (in some cases XP).

Here is an alternative > if the phone its on, wifi or data on you could  use MyXperia or Android device manager to reset your phone

Thanks people's I had to hard reset using pc companion. I lost some bits bit I'm up and running again, it cleared out the rubbish anywhere!
FYI it had to be over 80%charge before it would let me reset it!
