It says "Generic", is it mean; this firmware available for all countries and languages? (example; Russia, Turkey, Thai etc.)

Luckily I saved my 15 year old sim card, and with that it works, it's the same number, but when i bought the M2 i also bought new sim card, cause it's micro. I't work'd fine until i did the upgrade to kitkat. No network. Then i took my old sim card, and, what a suprise, it works. But I hope the problem will be solved soon.

Have you tried the new sim again? Does it work? I am thinking to do OTA update again to see what will happen, since i did it over usb cable the frst time. I have read somewhere that inserting another sim enables the sim slot so you can put back your old sim back in.

Another question: will I do any harm to the phone by flashing it often, and since I flashed it with flashtool did I break the warranty?

Yes, I tried to put back in the new sim card, and nothing changed... No signal, doesn't recognize the sim card... I got another sim card, third, and again nothing... I't only works with the old one... I think that you do break the waranty if you use "non official" methodes, so to speak...
