how to check if my phone is original

Hi, iam from Syria and I bought sony xperia m2, the phone is made in China, how I can chech if my phone is Origina? I inserted my imei on (wow.imei.info) and this site gave me that it is sony tablet type z !!!

In other way , if I get framework update notifications is that means that my device is original and there is no problem if I updat its frameworks or android system. Thanks.

Framework is a Windows thing or do you mean Firmware?

Sorry, iam not so good in English. ithink it's firmware (like: 18.3.1.b.0.18), so if I get notification that there is an updat for it, is that means that the device is original (for sorry I can't contact xperia car from Syria). And if you know is it true that xperia devices that made in China will hangup alot if I updat its firmware, Or android system (I read that m2 will get lollipop soon or later).

That firmware version says to me it's a M2 and I'm sure most phones are made in china or Japan but all would have been tested for quality before been shipped out - if it was a fake then programs like Pc Companion wouldn't work and Sony apps would also not work due to DRM keys and other special Sony coding and as for and I don't know if the M2 will get LP firmware
