FMTransmitterService running on the phone, does it have a FM Transmitter?

Found out that there's a FMTransmitterService that is running on my M5, however I can't figure out how to activate this feature, is FM Transmitter a feature on M5??

There doesn't seem to be supported, but you can contact your local Xperia Support to be sure

If it is not supported, why is there a service running? Isn't it wasting memory and CPU to have something running that is not supported, can you confirm this?

The local support here is totally useless, everytime I ask a question to them, they will just quote me back sections from the user guide, or some pdf.

Can you connect me to a Sony engineer to clear this up please.

The service is not there anymore after the 1.33 update, so I guess I accept the answer that the hardware is not there and the software probably got included accidentally.

I'm not sure why was this listed in the phone, but M5 does not have a FM Transmitter and probably why it has been removed in latest software.
