can't link a new contact to facebook contact since the update

Hi, has anyone had an issue with linking contacts since the update?  before when I entered a contact name if it matched a facebook contact it suggested that and i was able to link them.  now it doesn't do that and no many how many times i sync the accounts they do not link... any ideas?

Contacts/phonebook > menu > filter > select facebook

what if you select the contact and you try to merge it?

Welcome to the community.

It looks like Facebook has removed the Contacts Sync feature from their application. This has been discussed further in this thread:
