Blinking green led light won't turn off

Hi I'm looking for help. I bought my M2 three weeks ago and I have a problem with the led. If I have the notification led on it won't stop blinking and for no apparent reason. I don't have any unread messages and the notification bar doesn't show me anything.

The only solution I could find is to turn off the notification led and reset the phone but if a toggle it on it starts again and I want to be able to have led notifications working properly.

Any help? Thanks

It could be a notification app, a third party messaging app, taskiller, antivirus, etc, at this point it will be trial and error looking for the culprit.

Most likely a third party app causing this, boot on safe mode and report back

I tried this and the led didn't act up but how can I know which app is triggering it? I don't perceive any pattern at all it just seems to light up randomly. Do I have to unistall every third party until it stops or is there a way to know which is?

It was an app called "light bar Xperia" the one which was causing the problem. I found our because a friend download it in the same phone and the led started to behave weird too. After I uninstalled it, it never happened agaib
