My phone doesn't react when I try to open options in text messages screen. Also my call log does not show.

What device do you have? Can you check if the same occurs in safe mode?

Sorry for wasting people's time, but I've just realised that I had stupidly tapped the hide call log by mistake. Thank you all for your help and time
