4.3 update notification disappeared!!!

Hello fellow Xperians...I'm from Hyderabad.I have received the JB 4.3 update on 7th May..I tried to download it through mobile network..It went smoothly upto 65% and then the downloading disappeared..It was back to notification(New system update available)...So I decided not to waste any more mobile data and update it through wifi..Today morning,the notification is gone..Did anyone face this issue??

Even my notification also disappeared just now. I am using BSNL.

I am not sure of it but there are some rumours about a new update scheduled for Xperia M,,around the end of May,and June...

Jb 4.3 update disappeared today afternoon.. 😕
M also using airtel 3g..n I read all ur previous conversation..tried every solution stated over thr..bt yet didnt receive any update...help me out folks...

@tan11 - well till date everything was fine i dnt knw is it a bug or was it bcos of me but arnd twice it showed me on homescreen that unfortunately google has stopped working, something like that i reset the phone and now i dnt see that anymore

I too facing the same problem.but after receiving update,i reset my phone as a problem of not installing external apps i.e., apps out of google play store.now my update centre is updated,got the jelly bean 4.3 update,and the next day, it disappeared.
Please help me.

well the moment u got the update u shud have tried updating it.. so u mean to say that now ur having the same issue that the notification disappeared

I am facing the same problem. When I got the notification for JB 4.3 update I didn't have much data balance left so I thought it would be better to download after new recharge. But after 2 days it disappeared.

Sony replied to the complaint I made regarding this issue....Here it is..

As per your email, we have identified this issue on some units of these models, we have forwarded this to our relevant team.

A fix for the issues will be included in a new software release that will start rolling out as soon as possible, with exact availability and timing varying by operator and market.

We would suggest you to checkmark the notification in order to get the update:

1. From  Main Menu
2. Find and tap Setting
3. Tap About Phone
4. Tap Software Update
5. Tap Action Button
6. Tap Settings
7. Check-mark on notification
