I have the Sony Xperia L2. I use it as a discount iPod. I've never had a problem with it until today (August 5). For whatever reason it turned off, so i thought that the battery just died like normal, and I put it on the charger. Then later tonight (at about 8:45 ish) i unplug it to find out the the back was very, very hot. And it wouldn't turn on.Getting worried about my music, pics, etc. I decided to take out the SD card, burning my fingertips in the process. When i did, the phone immediately turned back on and is now fine. But my SD card was even hotter then the phone. Everything is cooled off now for the most part. Should I be worried about anything or not?
Edit: Today (Aug 6) testing if the sd card would work in the phone, i found out that got fried. I now get to re download a whole bunch of music again.
If it only happened once, you shouldn't. Which type of wall charger were you using? also, you might want to back everything up and repair it with Xperia Companion
