Annoying sound. Xperia L1

There's an annoying sound in the background. I've been experiencing it at least a year now. Even the phone is on totally muted, the annoying sound still there.

Does this sound appear during a specific kind of use, for example during phonecalls or while using the camera app or is the sound there constantly? And if it appears in a specific app, have you tried clearing the data for the app in question in order to reset the settings for the app?

Also, if the sound is there constantly, have you tried rebooting the phone in safe mode to see if the sound appears there as well? Safe mode is a troubleshooting mode where all apps downloaded from Play store is temporarily deactivated, that way you can see if this sound is caused by a downloaded app. For more information on safe mode and how to use it, click here.

It just constantly here.  The random sound is so annoying. Even my phone is in silent or vibration only. The sound is still there.

Did you try to reboot your phone in safe mode as I suggested earlier and if so, did the sound appear there as well?

If the sound appears in safe mode, My suggestion is to repair the software using a computer and Xperia Companion. Keep in mind though that a software repair will erase all user data from the phone, so make sure to do a backup of your user data before the repair.
