I'm hoping someone who owns this Blu-ray player can answer a really simple question for me. 

When the player is in standby, does it feature a clock on the display?

A bit of a weird question I know but it's just a feature I like my electronics to have!

I have this player, and it does not have a clock in the display at all.

As far as I know, no Sony  BDP player has even a clock that is visible to the user, since there is no use for it (unless they have  recording functionalities, but they are not sold in Europe).

Ahh, no worries. Thanks for the answers. I'm still intending to buy this player soon anyway as it looks like an awesome piece of kit!
