KDL32-EX720 - No Smartlink :-(

Goddamit Sony - I had an existing 32-EX720 TV which is not that old and I came across one of these HDD recorders in a cash converters shop and was so glad that at last I was going to get a SONY Hdd recorder to match my Sony TV. I thought everything will work perfectly together the remotes the HDMI CEC and everything .... that was until I came to the SMARTLINK feature which I have now found out that the SONY KDL32-EXE TV's SCART socket does not support SMARTLINK - why Sony, why could you have not manufactured this one of the top of the range TV with the Smartlink feature included!
