I went to see the film "Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy" last night and have to say, I think it was the most boring film I have ever seen. The storyline had so much potential, as well as a pretty good cast.
There was absolutely no action, well apart from a 20 second sex scene through a pair of binocular (shame they weren't Sony's Digital Camera Binoculars :smileywink:), oh and a 5 second scene of a womans head being blown off, however, for a 15 rated film, the head blowing could have been so much more!
I have never experience the utter silence that fell upon the entire audience when the end credits began to roll. I think it was total disbelief that they will never get those 2 hours back.
Apart from that, Colin Firth is still fit.

Thanks for the review Faith although I'm suprised that you didn't like the Tinker, Tailor, Soldier, Spy movie because it's had good reviews..:smileyconfused:
The thing is..... it's a bit weird, even though it was so boring, the actual acting was good, and individual scenes where excellent. I defo think it will probably win some awards for the acting.
Be interesting to see what others think as well 🙂
I think I see the problem, the film is aimed at a sophisticated audience - 'nuff said :smileymischief:
Are you implying that I'm not sophisticated?
What do you think? :smileymischief:
I think you're a cheeky bugger, and wouldn't know sophistication if it bit you in the ass.
Btw, saw another film last night called "abduction", abit better than last weeks film, but a bit slow to get started. When it did it was quite good.
