Cannot find my phone number on my new Sony Xperia

I must have a phone number, especially as Vodaphone has sent me messages.

I looked online for what to do and I went on Settings, System, then About Phone. But under my phone number, it says my phone number is unknown and I can't click on it.

How do I find my phone number?

sign in to your vodafone account, it'll be there, or phone someone, and write it down.

Was it not on the sim card literature either.?

Thanks, I've found it. I'm not sure if it was on the SIM card.

Apparently you dial *#100# and it appears on your screen.
