Anyone been to any good music festivals or gigs this year?

With Glastonbury over I was wondering whether anyone has been to any good music festivals or gigs so far this year? What were your highlights?

Are there any festivals you never miss year after year or any you would like to go to but haven't yet?

I've not made it to any festivals but i went to see Futurecop! recently who were great. I'm also seeing Above and Beyond at the end of the year.

Do you have any recomendations on the best music events or bands to go see live?

I was lucky enough to see Green Day in the Emirates, what a blast! It was a great gig and a really good crowd of both young and old. 

I hope they post some videos of the gig to their website.

Talking of Green Day, they're headlining this year at the Reading Festival

on 23rd August. Looks a great line up over the three days with Eminem

and Biffy Clyro too on other nights.

The line up does look good. Editors and SOAD are two favourites of mine. Are you going?

Green Day were one of my fav live acts. Although it's been a good few years since I saw them live.

No sadly I hung up my wellingtons and hot pants years ago.

(I think thats what you have to wear to festivals?)

Skrillex interested me too on the list.

Ohhhh SOAD are going to be there! That would be a good gig!!! A shame I won't be able to make it :(.
