I have been using my EReader for a while and when I connected it to my PC it said there was an update to the EReader library and so I started the update. It successfully downloaded, but then when it began the install it just seemed to keep going. Twelve hours later it was still going (it should have taken a few minutes), and I had to stop and disconnect. When I tried to re-install the library software it starts up, downloads the files then when it comes to the install it says error 1500 there is already an installation in progress, you need to complete that one, and I cannot get it to carry on. I therefore cannot connect my EReader to the PC any more and get new books (I can see the old ones are stored, but the reader library program isn't there). Can anyone let me know how to get rid of this error and get it to install? Is there a file I need to delete? I tried renaming the Sony folder "Sony old" but it made no difference, so I assume there are files elsewhere that need removing?
