Screen flashes twice when turning the page.

I was just wondering if anyone knows why this happens, or can help me fix it? I know when the page turns, the screen goes black briefly, which is normal. However, in the last few days this has been accompanied by a second white flash as well. Does anyone know why this might be happening, or how I can fix it?? Thanks!

Intrigued by this , and realising I didn't realise what happened when you turned a page (!) I had a go, and couldn't replicate this - the black bit, as you say, yes, but the second flash sounds like a component problem.

Try a reset first, ( bent paperclip needed, follow manual) and if that doesn't sort it, I think Sony support seems the answer, I'm afraid.

Try emailing them first, ....

Stupidly, I had not actually thought of resetting it. I must try that once I get home form work. I actually was passing a Sony store and just popped in to see if they might know what was happening. Unfortunately not, plus it would need to be actually doing the double-flashing for them to be able to try and work it out. Since it only does it randomly, I think I'll try resetting it and failing that, email customer support! Thanks!
