I have a PRS-650, and a Mac.
I have installed Reader Library. It does not work though. I try to launch it from the Application s window, and the icon appears in the dock. But it does not actually open. I have deleted it and reinstaled it. Still nothing. I have tried installing it in Windows (on Parallels) but I have the same problem. Rubbish!

i found this on a forum, hope this helps, i deleted some folders and it worked:
Hi, I too run a couple of macs and manage the reader from my macbook pro. I got side tracked by one major book selling site who recommended I install the Adobe software. I feel that this may have confused the issue. I am tempted to de-install the Adobe software but wonder if this will delete anything I have previously loaded. I did contact Adobe but didn't feel that they were offering a solution.
I have purchased 2 lots of 2 books from this particular site and as you have discovered nothing seems to hang together!
I have found the initial download produced acsm files in my download directory . If you have the reader software open on the mac double click on the acsm files if you can identify which one belongs to which book and this would appear to load the book into the sony reader environment. Having got this far just drag the book to the reader when connected.
I appreciate that we shouldn't have to do a work around if everything actually worked.
