PRS-350 not connected to Reader for PC

Lately, the Reader for PC software does not seem to be recognising when I plug my PRS-350 reader in  to the computer. This seems to be happening since the latest software update to Reader for PC, around the end of November. I am currently running version 2.0.01.11080.

Windows recognises that I have pluged the device in; the sound that indicates a device has been attached plays and the Autoplay dialoge appears. However, the Reader for PC software never recognnises the device as connected.

The same problem is happening on two seperate computers.

This is also happening to me, PRS-300 reader.

I updated just before this started to happen

When I use a copy of the old Reader Libary the PRS-300 is seen. It must be a bug in the new Reader for PC softwear

Hi, did you find a solution, as I have just updated reader and same thing has happened for my prs 350 - I have tried hard reset on my reader and also re-installing reader library to no avail. Just showing same as you in that although says signed in successfully it is telling me that reader is disconnected and will not therefore sync? Cannot see any helpline contact for Sony anywhere where you can get help?
