How do I close my Reader Store-account?

I live in DK and I've opened an account in Reader Store-UK trying to buy/downloadning books etc. I had to chose that I live in UK but didn't think much about it. Now I realize, that I can't buy books as I don't have a Uk-Credit Card and as I see it, I don't have much use for the account: How do I close it?

Furthermore, the software from Sony ("Reader for PC") doesn't seem to be of much benefit when you cannot use Reader Store which is 1/2 of the program. Do you know of alternatives?
