Editing book titles etc

Does anyone know if this us possible and I'm just missing it?!  If not, please Sony consider this for further software upgrades.  For some reason although I have renamed the files appropriately, when transferred into my e- reader library, the file names are different.

I got the PRS-505 reader for christmas, having previously used my iPad for everything, I wasn't sure about the reader but I've been pleasantly surprised.  If this issue was fixed, I would totally blown away!!

You could try using Calibre software. It's a free but very good ebook management software.

But intrigued about the 505 - there seem to be quite a few of these about , are these all "pre-owned", as they say, or are there caches of new 'uns  lurking in lock-ups somewhere ?
