New software is called "Reader V1", does this entirely replace "Reader Library 3.3"? Which is still listed as a download?
I am assuming not, but I have a clean computer, just installed "Reader V1" and it does not transfer encrypyed books. It does not tell me that I need Digital Editions (do i?)
I have tried Authorising the device (the device has been authorised in the past, but the software implies it's not authorised), the dialog just disappears, did not tell me if it did or didn't authorise.
Again Sony starts out with great intentions and then screws it all up in the implementation. I can see how this will REALLY confuse new users.

Hi and thank you for your feedback, unfortunately it is not so straight forward to just move from one PC to another, you will need to download an ePub from your store and reauthorise the new PC, this should help, if not please let me know.
ADE should not be required but most UK retailers want you to have it for support.
Grrrrr, it gets worse, I just asked the new reader software to copy 1 EPUB to my reader, and it decided it wanted to sync my entire collection of EPUBS.
Thanks Sony. Perhaps you should hire software decent software engineers and test teams. I mean come on, this is basic stuff here...
