Book covers do not appear on the device

I have just purchased a PRS - 350 and my first couple of books. The books and covers appear in thge library but when I sync the appear very breifly in ythe reader itself and then disappear. The book contents still remain, so I have contents just no visual. I have the most up to date software - any other clues.

My 350 has just started doing the same.  No idea why, it used to down the covers of they were available.

My 650 is doing it too.

I've tried deleting all books from the reader (all 1600 of them) and reuploading, and thought I had cracked it (this has happened before). Only now the covers that were showing the correct picture are now blank again.

Anybody got any idea what to do about it?
