After software update am unable to access itv hub not accepting postcode did the same to other players but managed to get them running. Any suggestions?

Retune the set and try again. When setting up, be sure to choose the Sony and YouView T&Cs individually, not the blanket choice.

Are you in Scotland?

Try a different postcode - firstly one near to yours and if that doesn’t work, one a long way away.

If still no go, a Factory Reset may be needed.

We need to know the model of the TV, though, to be sure this advice is applicable to your set.
