I have contacted Sony support and they advised that this being investigated by their engineers; however, as a workaround for now, you can disable the info banner by pressing home- select settings- watching TV and set the info banner to OFF

Hi I don't know if it's the update but I have noticed when I am streaming Netflix since the update, now and again I get like a picture freeze but the sound continues to play, is this to do with the update as well, does anyone know.

Is this in relation to the last software version?
Also, have you tried using WiFi instead of wired? If so, do you get the exact same results?

That's very true, unless the wired port is rated at lower speeds than what WiFi is capable of.

This is a speed test off Netflix on the TV. Wired. We own the virgin media 200mbps broadband. All was fine before the upgrade/update. 😊
