Is there a reason why I can't download betting apps to my Bravia 55AG9?

Is the only option to go via the Internet / browser?

TBH, I wouldn't want a Sony TV to become a vehicle to gambling via installable apps.

I'm not sure if the content of the app is the issue, but in general, not all Android apps are available on Android TV. It's up to the developer to a great extent.
