a5000 and flash

Hello, i have just bought an A5000 and i cannot find the menu for the flash. Even with the auto programm in a dark room the flash does not auto engage. I have to first push the button to open it and then it works. I have searched the menu but i cannot find anything about the flash. Does anyone know anything about my problem??

Hi,

To enable the flash you need to pop it out - it will not come out automatically.

Personally I like this method as it gives me more control over the flash and it doesn' bright up a scene if I don't want.

To access the flash menu just press menu > camera settings > flash mode
