Since latest Android 15 Update Xperia 5 V OS is slow, crashes and apps stop working

Hello Community/Support,

the latest update I received on my fairly new Xperia 5 V broke a lot of things and I therefore urge you to bring a hotfix out asap. Was this update not tested beforehand? 

The system UI suddenly crashes repeatedly, the volume rocker freezes or reacts with a delay of 5-10 seconds, YouTube app is unusable and just checking emails in the Gmail app is impossible as this crashes as well.

Build Number is 67.2.A.2.41 release keys

seems the 67.2.A.2.60 release-keys update has fixed the issues.

i'm also having these same problems with the Xperia 5 V since the android 15 update. build number 67.2.A.2.60, which i note is lower than the 10 V user here which is a cheaper phone. contacted support and they're pretty bad links to a youtube private video i can't see about xperia repair software downloaded to a PC etc. awful support.

Hi @rpc1978, try to Force restart & Force shutdown by following the steps below:

. Force restart: press and hold the Power button + Volume button for 10 seconds.

. Force shutdown: press and hold the Power button + Volume button for 30 seconds until the phone vibrates 3 times and shuts down.
