Hello. it is strange but people cannot hear me or hear me very badly when I speak via loudspeaker in my new Xperia 1 IV. I have checked already mic permissions, default phone app and the rest. All seems ok. It doesn't happen when I speak on loudspeaker in VoIp apps though. It is really annoying, another problem added to the already well known overheating problem. I am on the limit of the return period and I don't know what to do....
Can someone help?
Thank you
So let me understand correctly. The issue you're having is while on normal phone calls?
You have tried voip apps - when you did this, were you on wifi or data? If you can't remember, it's worth trying again testing only on wifi and on then test it again on data only (4/5G).
If the issue happens while on data, were you on 4G or 5G?
Does your network provider support 5G on your area, if not, try setting it to 4G only.
One way to reduce heat is turning off 120hz on display settings(I know it's ridiculous).
@Corruptedminds thank you so much for your answer.
I think I was on WiFi when I detected the loudspeaker issue. I will do the suggested tests and then revert back.
My screen refresh rate is already at 60Hz, 120Hz was disabled but the issue persists....
Thanks again for the answer.
