Xperia z1 screen broken

My Xperia z1 screen cracked while in my pocket..Will this be covered under the warranty? Also how do I remove the pattern lock to back up my data and stuff on the PC as i have no touch feedback in that area.

Also if not covered under the warranty how much will it cost to replace the screen? just a ball park figure would do.

Its a useless product.. Un satisfied with it.. Same problem.. I did nothing and the screen broke.. ANd i contacted the customer cxare they ask me to pay 50% of mobile cost to repair it.. With my mobile still in warranty period..

Hope sony officials take care of such problems causing mental and financial trauma to their esteeemed cusotmers

My Sony Xperia z1 screen has broken for the forth time. I am back to using my old Samsung galaxy because I can't afford to pay another 8,000 baht to fix the Z1 Screen again. None of my previous phone screens broke. It is disgraceful profiteering that Sony are charging 8,000B to fix an obvious design fault. Look at the internet, every 2nd person who bought a xperia z1 are having the saime problem.

I got self cracked of my sony xperia z1 and it is quit clear that it's been self cracked ,because it doesen't have any damage on body neither a scratch on body. And i read the reviews of customers that "they have a same problem with the same situation as they seen their phone cracked by simply just removing it from the pocket ,as i have the same situation. " ,and sony service center said that it might be damaged by me. **bleep**, accept it that this is sony mobile's problem withdisplay damaged of some faulty pieces like me and some like others those have same problem

your technicians are worst and rude,they always tell its broken ,warranty doesnt include it.my phones display is also broken but i got only insult from local sonycare when i went there.they are not ready to beleive that its not damaged

 friends,sony has started cheating the people in developing countries .they dont hear them.there are so many incidences of screen broken without external damage.they demand huge prices and even central care pple do not respond ad insult.

if some 3 to 4 other pple are ready we can file a suite against them.its not only i have paid them huge amount for it and for me it doesnt matter much but the way they dont care is insulting.if no one will do nothing they will cheat a lots of pple.so if any indian here myself is dr ramesh patel,cell no 7096538704,lets unite and teach them lesson

moreover i hate sony now onwards,they are ruthless,trustless pple.one can expect cheating only from this japanese pple.will never buy any japanese product nowonwards.not even a single medical instrument

yes im agree with u guys..,i m using xperia near about 4yrs but this type of problem in this way...i didnt face before, sony made the believe but now break that believe,i am usinng xperia arc S till day, and it fall 5 to six time from my hand in the ground unwillingly in a week,the design of its really awesome and unbeatable till day from others. but my a 2 month old z1 falled once ,and get damage the lcd,and the service center charged 9k for it. so i am thinking for repaire it to other reapairing center within 4k, is it right way???? or please say the original price for original sony lcd screen assembly.
