Xperia Z1 - Forgot Password

Hi Team,

I did a factory reset for my Xperia Z1 and added a password to it for security purpose.  I was using a different phone for a while and now when i  went back to use my Zperia unfortunately I don't recall my password. I have tried doein a hard re-set via button in Sim Slot, PC companion and even the code but it's not working for me

Can you please help me and advise how can i remove the password screen ?

I'm sorry to hear this. You should be able to reset your device if you perform a software repair using Xperia Companion. Note that this will completely reset your device, erasing all of your personal data.

Hi , When i connect it with PC companion it says your device is locked with password, please unlock.

I recommend that you download Xperia Companion instead of PC Companion.

Also note that when you start the repair process you phone should be turned off and not connected to your computer.
