Xperia z randomly does not wake up for a minute or so!

Recently in the last week while using my xperia z, when I press power button, it goes to standby and screen goes off. But as I press the power button again, it does not wake. It still runs and I get messages and notification led works but screen does not come on. I keep pressing power button and after about 30 to 60 seconds the screen comes on again. What could be causing this problem? First problem since the sudden death glitch.

Boot your phone into safe mode, see if the same occurs:

It did the same in safe mode. Other thing I noticed is if I press power button off and on at lock screen then iI works fine. But as soon as I unlock screen then turn off. It won't come back on until after a few presses and about 10 20 seconds.

It also mostly happens at night when I'm in bed using my phone, could it be caused by the phone heating up.?

Strange. It means no 3rd party app should interfere.Do you have,by the way,any task killers or battery savers?

I think it's firmware issue

Cause other users reported this... Also we got this on our last sw on sp

If software Repiar didn't solve it then it's firmware issue

No. I don't believe in them. All I use is stamina mode.

Does that mean we have to wait for Sony for the fix
