Sony Xperia Z3 Compact motherboard component?

Anyone knows, what component is this (see picture)? On phone of mine, it's broken, but seems not affect normal functions what so ever? What's the purpose of this switch/sensor?

Is Gps component. Mine broken from motherboard. Have to buy New One and try to installeren all backup data.
