SD Card keeps dismounting itself

The 8gb SD card on my xperia z C6603 running the 4.2.2 android with the .422 build keeps dismounting itself (I flashed a Generic UK .ftf) . At one point the SD card even got corrupted in the phone. Is this an issue with the phone or the sd card? n how to fix it?

I would say is the SD card, test a different micro SD card and reformat the SD card

might be a stupid question but just want to confirm before buying...... does the xperia z support class 10 and UHS-1 memory cards?

Class 10 and UHS-1 works fine.

i have the same problem using a sandisk 8gb card.if i take it out of the phone, experia sp, and put it in my laptop,read the card and then return it to my phone it works.all the data is still on the card.it even dismounted while i was listening to music yesterday.No idea.must be a fault with the phone
