Scene Options and HDR

Hello.

I seem to be missing a couple of options in the Camera menu. I cannot find the HDR function at all and I can only access the Scene mode in the Video function.

I would appreciate your help.

Many thanks

Peter

I guess that HDR is available only in manual mode and only in 8MPx resolution 😕
I don't know why.

When it comes to scene selection, it is available in manual mode, again in 8MPx only...
However, HDR feature need a lot of improvement as at the moment I can't see any difference between HDR on and off.
I alsowould like to see an option for more resolutions 16:9 - higher that 8MPx, 16MPx or even 20MPx 16:9 would be nice.

Thank you,

When you open the camera > settings > you can't see the HDR icon? (scroll down)

You should be able to see a difference if you have a bright background (behind the object)

Hi.

Done that but not an option, it's not in the list.

However, I have just been told that these things are only available in Manual mode at  8mp !!

Got them now. Many thanks everyone.

1. If you want to maunully select HDR, use the Manual mode, HDR is listed in the options "3 dots is the option icon"

2. Why HDR cannot be used at 20MP? It is because of HDR's working way, HDR capture more pictures at same time, so that it needs to leave some "extra room/pixel" for processing. It's normal for HDR function supported devices.
