Headphone entrance waterproof?

Hi all,

When i look at the Xperia Z1 Compact, i see 3 holes which are not covered.

1) Headphone entrance

2) at the bottom right side

3) at the rightside bottom (2 and 3 are very close to eachother).

Should the headphone entrance be blocked with something to make it waterproof, or is it waterproof by default?

If the holes don't have covers to them then it is waterproof.

The headphone socket is waterproof and should not be blocked like the USB socket etc - The socket itself inside is a closed unit and works via connection pins not like other phones which use a ribbon cable or plug
