can't write on SD card even first party apps

Since I updated my Xperia Z to the 4.4.4 kitkat using pc companion, I couldn't copy any file to SD card

Searching on Google I knew their is a restrictions for third party apps but even my first party apps can't write on my SD card (32 gb). Camera app can't save captured pictures to SD, file commander says error when I try to copy to SD.

I got a notification than is my internal is full with more than 75% space when try to transfer media to SD says error

I am really tired of this **bleep** tried factory reset, changing my SD card but didn't fix the problem.

When I mount SD card from settings then remount it works even with third-party apps but when I reboot the phone all files I copied to SD card is lost as I didn't even use it

I still can use file that is already on SD card and also can copy it to internal storage.

The sony's kitkat update really ruined my SD card, pls any help to fix this?

Sorry for being too late

I had to get some time to backup my files and charge the phone to +80% for software repair.

But after all it didn't fix the problem. I can't copy files with file commander to sd card. It works when I mount then remount but then after reboot I get my copied files lost. (nothing changed after software repair)

My sd card is 32 gb SanDisk
I tried with another sd card(4 gb called hc) but the same problem happens (even using file commander)

So I am sure It's a phone problem but If software repair didn't solve it, what will solve it?

I am sure there is something wrong with the latest update (10.5.1.A.0.283).

Tested that sd card on the pc with a reader, It also do the same problem so I thought the card is broken

All of the above was ONE YEAR AGO

Couple of monthes after that I had a 2 gb sd card, It worked properly on my device which made me think that my old sd card was broken, But I didn't rely too much on this new one as it was already almost full and I didn't copy any large files or use it too much. But it was really working properly

Now I updated my z to the latest lollipop, got latest updates for evething on the Android system.

I felt that I need more space for phone, so I bought a new sd card (SanDisk 64 gb), out of the box I tried it on my Z reformatted it from erase data option.

I saw the transfer data option beside the erase data. Said to my self "That problem was A YEAR AGO, It should be fixed now with new updates and the lollipop"

And guess what. Again! The same problem with first sd card. I feel like I had my first sd card back. Files corrupt and disappear... You know the drill

I put on my 2 gb sd card again and got the same problem without even use the transfer data option.

Tested the new sd card on the pc with reader, Also got corrupt files after copying even after formatting to other data systems like exfat, fat32


Now It's confirmed, I have Xperia Sd cards destroyer

Any solution?

Hi. Even if formatting in fat32 works, you are limited to files 4gig or less. Most films I watch are 6 to 10 gig. Last experia I had could only use Sony headphones. IPhone headphones were incompatible.
Just bought a z3 (great phone) and now this writing issue? Fat32? Why? Nexus7, wuawei, Samsung all work fine with otg without being limited to fat32 format. There's gotta be another option.???

The SD card was formatted to fat32 and I didn't copy a file bigger than 4gb

All of them was pictures/videos/movies/other office files

I have this problem but only since lollipop so don't expect that to fix it if you are on KK now tried card reformat no effect online forums suggestions Google at it again stopping us using sd cards purportedly for security but really to prevent sd card enabled phones competing with their own and apples fixed storage devices.
