Battery notification light goes off

For the first time power on my z1 I charged it 12 hours. First shows orange light then shows green light. Approximately after 10-11 hours the green light goes off (none of notification light shows) but my phone was plugged in to a electric socket. Is that any problem happens with my handset? Please give suggestions.:smileyconfused:

Overcharging does not affect the battery(these batteries do not charge after they reach 100% full charged). But it is recommended to disconnect the charger after reaching 100% full charged.

I know, but I thought you could find something helpful there.Try and force restart your phone(power button+vol up until the phone vibrates). It should not turn off.

I have not seen this before,I do not think charging that much could be the issue.Have you tried contacting sony about it?

Not yet. Thanks for the suggestions. I will contact later.

Last thing is that, over charged the battery can be harmful for the handset or the battery?
