I bought the XZs specifically to be able to enjoy Hi-Res audio. I then bought the Sony MDR-1ADAC headphones. When they arrived, I discovered that there was only a USB-B cable for the headphones, while the phone has only an USB-C connector. Some extra time and money was spent trying to get a USB B to C connector only to find out that the headphones remain mute, the connection simply does not work whatever you do. On the XZs you cannot force the phone to recognize an USB device. Is my only option to return the headphones? Both are premium products made by Sony.
