Sony xperia xz premium buttons stop working

Hey every one, so my volume buttons and camera buttons randomly stop registering any input, this hadn't occurred at any specific time tho, so I am not sure why I happens. 

Restarting my phone makes them work again until they randomly stop again. 

This started happening after the oreo update

none of my buttons were working, but holding the center of the screen fairly hard (didn't want to break the glass) and holding down the power button allowed me to turn the phone back on !

Have you dropped your phone?

Easy fix. Remove back cover and make sure al cables are properly connected. The culprit is a long wire that goes up next to the rear camera
