(Solved) Unbelievably numerous dead pixels on front camera sensor

Problem(hot pixels) solved by August 2017 system update. Great update!

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I found 24 dead pixels on my Xperia XZP front camera photo.

I've used many smartphones from different manufacturers and this is unbelievable.

Sony, do you even check the camera sensors before you put it in and seal the product?

What kind of quality control is this? For the 'Premium' product?

It might be very hard to see the dead pixels on the shrunk picture above, (It's a 13MP camera)

so here is the cropped picture of the lower left corner. Check out the red and white dots.

Or you can open the imgur link and open the original picture at 100% or magnify it more.

only now I'm actually able to view the attached pic. I don't see anything but black picture with some yellow squares with nothing in them. are you sure it's a camera issue?

I added a cropped pic, they are still not so easy to pick but they do exist. (It's a 13mp camera.)

I used many smartphone cameras and checked each of them. Nothing was this terrible.

I took multiple pictures on different days and checked that those red and white dots are always where they are.

Some white dots got dimmer but most of them and the big red dots don't change.

Can I just say how good it is to see such a measured approach to sharing this issue. Good details and not ranting.

I know that doesn't help the situation, it's just good to see.
