who can help me ? my sony a215z has got a big fan noise!!!

i tried to set the cpu as adaptive, then the temprature turned down, but the cpu will be runnin low,

if i set the cpu as performance, the fan will be very noisy!! how can i solve the problem!!???

the noise is driving me crazy!!

The 'Adaptive' setting is just as powerful as performance with the exception of not constantly demanding the frequency of the cpu to be at maximum even during idle. The very definition of adaptive is this. It only calls apon the CPU to deliver the necessary frequency to do the job required. Performance is quite frankly a totally unneccessary setting and only shortens the life of the computer. Battery life is the setting that reduces the realtime execution of tasks. Use adaptive and give the fan a good cleaning with compressed air and maybe use headphones LOL
